NATURA

Collecting interesting specimen has always been my passion. I began with toy soldiers, post stamps, and then I grew interested in the world of nature: stones, crystals, shells, roots, twigs, fruit, clouds, winds etc.

The works in the show are processed and exposed objects taken from nature. Varied shapes and noble colours form perfection in itself, together with their histories and their secrets..

GEOMETRIA

We have several proverbs: there must be an explanation, you can't skip yourself, don't attempt the impossible, etc. They are true and clear. Yet, no one who is in quest accepts such thoughts.

I discovered the wonder myself when I first saw paintings by Malevich, Rosanova, Rodchenko, Kliun from the years 1914-1923. Analysis brought to extreme, characteristic of their works, results in such concise forms that there is nothing more to be achieved. It is possible, unusual, intriguing and touching by ambiguity of the message.

It was a new terrain for, where I have undertaken some verifying attempts

ARCHEOLOGIA

In today's world full of signs pointing directions of activity (advertisement signs and commercial marks, signs of electronic access paths, road signs, public order denotations, signs of prohibition, warning, admission, etc.), we grow less sensitive to sign perception, concrete signs, which refer to deeper realm linking us with the origins and the sense of life.

Man is a highly symbolical being. He needs symbols, because he intends to attach sense to the universe, nature, his own life and that of other people.

Throughout recent four decades of researching the origin of man (homo habilis) as well as every archeological discovery referring to prehistoric art (homo sapiens) prove that man is a symbolical and religious being.

Thus, he cannot give up the efforts undertaken to create a bridge opening up the way to infinity, with one's own beginning and destiny. Thus, the firmament is blue, mountain, water and other elements became the first symbols of humanity. History of every civilisation proves it.

A gdyby pomyśleć o nich, tych, nad którymi chodzimy? Są jedno z ziemią, ale przecież byli, i inaczej niż jako nieobjęta liczba, także jako osobne istoty. Jeżeli nasza planeta jest naprawdę po to, żeby zaludniać duszami niebiosa i piekła, roje ich poruszają się w pozarzeczywistej przestrzeni, bez ustanku zdumione obrzędem, obyczajem i wyglądem swoich poprzedników i następców, tak jak my bylibyśmy zdumieni mogąc ich spotkać.

"Tematy do odstąpienia - archeologia"









Obiekty - znaleziska stanowią symbol miejsca, z którego zostały przeniesione. Są znakami upamiętniającymi czas, rytm mojej wędrówki, drogi jeszcze otwartej, niezakończonej. Są wybranymi reliktami: może to być belka z domu urodzenia, kamień przydrożny czy pień jabłoni z ogrodu dzieciństwa; ich historia może być również domysłem, tajemnicą. Materia tych elementów, kształt, faktura, ujawniają nam ich dramaturgię, są naznaczone czasem, przemijaniem
