Born on 10th September, 1954. Studied in the period between 1974 - 1979 at the Department of Painting and Graphics of State High School of Fine Arts in Łódź. Diploma in 1979 in the Studio of Woodcut Techniques headed by Professor Andrzej Bartczak and in the Studio of Painting headed by Professor Stanisław Fijałkowski. Since 1983 a didactic worker of the school he graduated from. At present a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Łódź. In the period between 1986-2000 a member of Societe Internationale des Graveures sur Bois XYLON and Stowarzyszenie Międzynarodowe Triennale Grafiki (Association of International Triennial of Graphics) in Kraków.
