Born in Łódź in 1946. He studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Łódź, in the Studio of Painting and Drawing run by Professor Marian Jaeschke. He obtained a diploma in 1970. In 1976-1978 he was a scholar at the Foundation of Development of Art Creation of the Minister of Culture and Art. In 1978 he was a scholar at Fundazione Romana Marchesa J.S. Umiastowska in Rome, in 2004 a scholar at Maison d’Artiste de la Grande Vigne in Dinan, France. At present he is a Professor, teaching painting and drawing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź and at the University of Computer Sciences and Skills in Łódź, and in 1992-2004 at the European Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, in 2002-2005 at the University of Trade in Łódź. He is concerned with painting and drawing. He lives and works in Łódź..
