Born in Bydgoszcz on 14th July, 1948. She studied at the Wł. Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Łódź in 1969-1974. In 1974 she got a diploma in the Studio of Textile-Art headed by professor Janina Tworek - Pierzgalska. Since 1974 she has been a teacher at the Academy (since 1995 a professor). From 1987 to 2000 she was an editorial consultant working for Leonardo - Journal for International Society for the Arts, Science and Technology, the USA. She is concerned with photography, textile-art, installations.
