BBorn in 1942. Studied at the State High School of Fine Arts in Łódź in the studio headed by Professor Marian Jaeschke in the period between 1964 - 1970. Graduated in 1970. Being a professor, he is the head of the studio of painting at the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Łódź and at the Academy of Humanities and Economics in Łódź.

Pursues painting and drawing. In the 1980s he was connected with the independent artistic circles. 30 individual exhibitions in the country and abroad. Participated in 130 collective exhibitions in Poland and 32 exhibitions of Polish art abroad. Awarded for his creative and didactic activity. Works in museums and private collections in Poland and abroad.
