Born in Kutno in 1960. He studied at PWSSP (the Academy of Fine Arts and Design) in Łódź between 1983-1989, at the Faculty of Graphics. He obtained a diploma in the Studio of Publishing Graphics run by Professor S. Łabęcki and in the Studio of Woodcut Techniques run by Professor A.M. Bartczak in 1994. At present he is Professor extraordinarius with habilitation. Since 2010 he has been running the Studio of Woodcut Techniques and Artistic Book at the Faculty of Graphics and Painting, Wł. Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Łódź. He was a Vice-Dean at the Faculty of Graphics and Painting between 2005-2012.

He is concerned with artistic graphics and graphic design, artistic book, drawing and painting.
