Born in Łódź in 1955. In 1973-1978 he studied at the High School of Fine Arts in Łódź. Diploma in 1979 in the Studio of Woodcut Techniques headed by Prof. Andrzej Bartczak. At present he is an assistant professor in the Studio of Drawing at the Faculty of Graphic Art and Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts & Design in Łódź. Pursues drawing and painting
