Born in Lodz in 1951. He studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Lodz. He obtained a diploma at the Faculty of Graphic Arts in 1976 in the studio run by Professor Stanisław Fijałkowski. In 1989-2013 he was in charge of the Studio of Graphic Arts, the Faculty of Visual Arts of the State Higher School of Fine Arts and the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. Since 2013 he has been running the Studio of Painting, the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz.
